Claire had a small early birthday party on Saturday. She decided that she would like to go bowling first, then have lunch and cake and presents. The bowling was fun. She had a tough time at first, trying to get that heavy ball all the way down the lane, but ended up doing pretty well.
For lunch we had turkey/ham wraps (adults) and pbj (kids), fruit salad, and chips. Claire had picked out a white cake with lemon filling between the layers and very fluffy white frosting, so I made that for her. It was 3 layers and very pretty. She also picked out rainbow sherbet to go with it.
After the cake and sherbet we opened presents, one of which was the game Cadoo. We played 2 rounds of that and then the party was over! It was a nice day. It was so busy and fun that I forgot to take pictures!
