Not much, but an update anyway

Not much going on here, but I’ll update you anyway. Claire’s lost 5 teeth. Her smile is pretty funny now. There is another loose one on the top row that is about to fall out. I’d give it another week though, she’s funny about wanting them out. She’ll say she wants it out, but then she’ll change her mind and protect the tooth.

Tonight we’re going to a Girl Scouts organizational meeting – we’ll see if that looks like something we can do this year or not. She’s already doing ballet/tap and I don’t want her overextended. Ballet is only one night per week, but it does get a little hectic if we start piling on the activities.

Two teeth in one week

Claire lost two teeth this week. The first one was pretty uneventful. The new tooth pretty much just poked it out. But the second one was a little more exciting. She was eating a popsicle when she said, “my tooth feels funny” and I look over to see blood running down her face. I think the popsicle numbed it to the point where she felt she could bite down with it. But it didn’t hold, and decided to “fall” out instead. It was pretty gross, but she didn’t cry or anything. I thought for sure she’d be upset by the amount of blood. But, no.
